Kara is feeling better today. The nausea is dissipating. She says now it feels like she's trying to get over the flu.

In February 2005, Kara was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic brain cancer – large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She is a devoted mother of two, and a caring and generous wife, sister and daughter. This blog was started to keep family and friends informed of Kara's progress. The thoughts and prayers Kara has received through this blog have been an unending source of hope and inspiration, including many kind and encouraging comments from people she has never met. We thank you all.

You know how you are not a morning person? Well, take advantage of the situation and just sleep in. See if Em will bring you breakfast in bed about 9:00 am
Praise to God for feeling better and being home,
Love, Gamma and Gampa
Kara: Glad you are feeling better today. Wonderful pics of you with Emma & Luke. You & your family are in my thoughts everyday.

Know that we are thinking of you daily, and hopefully sending you strenght, from our home to yours. Love

Kara, we continue to lift you, Matt, Emma, Luke, John, Carol and all the family up to the Lord in prayers. He alone knows your deepest needs, and I know that the Lord truly loves and cares for you. We praise the Lord that you are feeling better. I wish we were close enough to help in some more tangible way.
Carol: If I remember right, your birthday is tomorrow--March 7. May the Lord bless you on your special day and give you the desires of your heart, especially Kara's healing. Love Mary & Rodney
