From Kara

As Easter quickly approaches, my “suffering” is put into perspective as I remember Christ’s horrible death on the cross. He died so that we can live. Thank you, Jesus.

Praises:
- Thank you God for the completion of another step in the treatment process with the completion of whole brain radiation with minimal side effects and thank you for the kind radiation staff who treated me.

- Thank you God for Emma’s quiet understanding that Mommy has to go to the hospital again so the doctors can make her better.

- Thank you God for the continued prayers, encouragement, and support from family, church family, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Prayer Requests:
- No recurrence of brain tumors and no long term side effects from radiation.

- Kind and skilled nurses during my hospital stay for chemotherapy.

- Chemotherapy will be administered quickly with side effects being well managed so that I can return home Wednesday.

- Chemotherapy will destroy all cancer cells, permanently.

- Energy and patience for my parents as they care for Emma and Luke.

Thank you for your continued prayers; they truly are a blessing to me.

Just wanted you to know that I'm still here thinking about you. Your whole family is included in grace at dinner, so you should feel a little surge of prayer warmth around 6:30. giggle. Anyway...I love the updates and pictures. Thank you Jean and John. Love you all.

We have enjoyed the colorful Easter photos of you and the kids. The Lord truly is our resurrection and life. We trust Him to continue to speak to you and refresh you each day, especially this week with the chemo.
Know you continue in our prayers.
Love,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don

Dear Kara,
How brave you are and how I hope
round II is over and has gone better knocking out the problem areas and having you know and feel the positive power of the total cure which we pray God has for you ! The photos of you and Emma and Luke coloring the eggs were wonderful, and what a joy your precious little ones are for you and forall of us to see the pure happiness on their beautiful faces when they are with you always. Such treasures and how fortunate for them to have such a marvelous mom and caring dedicated dad, not to mention Granny and Doc, Uncle John, and Aunt Jean. Our prayers are with you every moment of every day and especially at times of great challenges like this week. May Jesus hold you and strengthen you and give you special peace and comfort and prompt return to the good health which is life and whichhas always been yours, dear Kara, our special child. I love you, Aunt Betsy
