A New Week

Kara felt much improved today and was able to join her family at church this morning. The nausea seems to be continuing to subside, and she is hoping to get her strength back day by day. She has two weeks off before her next chemotherapy treatment, but will have daily whole brain radiation this week. This week should be easier for Kara than last week, and she hopes to be able to resume some "normal" activity.

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK:

- Please pray that the side effects of the treatment continue to diminish and she returns to feeling like her old self soon.

- Please pray for continued optimism, faith, and good spirits for Kara through this trying time.

- Please pray that the treatments are successful in eradicating the cancer, permanently.

THANK YOU for the continuing outpouring of support, encouragement, and love that all of you have shown for Kara and her family throughout this time. The prayers you have offered on Kara's behalf have helped comfort and sustain her, and have doubtlessly contributed to her recovery going as well as it has.

Kara, it's so good to see your big smile. I'm so glad you are going through this with the support of so many family and friends. Some goodies are coming in the mail, watch out for them! Your are continually in our prayers. Give your Mom a birthday hug from the Pennsylvania gang!

Kara,
We are praying for you and your precious family. My husband and I are amazed by the strength and faith you are living out as you cling to the promises of Christ's redemptive power and your wholehearted trust in the goodness of God's sovereignty. May you continually be renewed as you face the challenges that are undoubtedly bonding you and your family together in Christ. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and for the comfort and peace among your little ones (who are absolutely precious!!) and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Oops, you can still give your Mom a hug, but we won't make her older than she is. We'll wait 'til May.
