Kara has been suffering from severe vertigo this week. She hasn't been able to do much, and we hope that this passes soon. She is also having trouble with her appetite and nausea. She will see Dr. Lynch later in the month, and will have another round of chemo after that.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that the vertigo Kara is experiencing passes.
- Please pray that Kara is able to eat more and build herself back up.
- Please pray that the cancer is eradicated from her body, permanently.

In February 2005, Kara was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic brain cancer – large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She is a devoted mother of two, and a caring and generous wife, sister and daughter. This blog was started to keep family and friends informed of Kara's progress. The thoughts and prayers Kara has received through this blog have been an unending source of hope and inspiration, including many kind and encouraging comments from people she has never met. We thank you all.

Dear Kara,
I am so sorry to hear that the nausea is back and that you are suffering from vertigo. I hope that all of this goes away soon and you can get some energy back to enjoy the last part of summer. Take care of yourself! It was good to see you at class yesterday. :)

We agree that you "fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life" (ITimothy6:12). We agree that the Lord rule over and cast out any vertigo and all nausea.
