Update

Kara and Matt met with Luke's pre-school teachers yesterday, and they know that Luke will be in good hands. Luke has been lonely without his buddy Emma around for most of the day, so it will be good for him when pre-school starts back up!

Kara had a setback with her nausea issues last night. Hopefully it was just that something she ate didn't sit well, and not a side effect of the new chemo drug. The dizziness is still around, but that may be from the radiation and all the stuff moving around and shrinking in her head.

Kara is encouraged and strengthened by all the many cards and expressions of faith and good will she has received. The outpouring of encouragement and prayers for her helps her have confidence that God can, and will, provide her with a miracle.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara's side effects from the treatments and the stroke continue to diminish.
- Please pray for for confidence, faith, and peace for Kara, that she can have joy day by day, and keep doubt and fear away.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Kara,

I have half of California praying for you. You are continuously in our thoughts and prayers. Your unquestionable faith is beautiful and a true testiment of what a Christian is. With God all things are good.

We love you,
D.K. and Jacque Willardson

Kara,
I have the other half of California praying for you. You know that you are always in the thoughts and prayers of our family and friends. You have so many people who love you so deeply. That love is surrounding you. Hopefully that love will help sustain you.

A quote from Mary Baker Eddy who wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, "Divine love always has met and always will meet every human need." You can turn everything over to God and free yourself from all human strife.

When my husband was struggling with cancer, and I was caring for my young child, I held onto this verse hourly.

Love,

Deidre

Hi Kara-

This is Celia, Matt's (2nd)cousin. I just received your blogspot from Diane and wanted to drop you a line to say 'hello' and send my best wishes! I really admire your strength, spirit, and faith. You are a force to be reckoned with! The kids look great in the photos, and I can't wait for Wyatt (my son) to meet them. Feel better soon!

Love,

Celia
