In La Grange

Kara and Matt have made it safely to La Grange. They left at 12:50 a.m., and arrived at 9:00 -- it's usually a two-hour drive.

Please see the prayer requests below. Thank you.

PRAISE THE LORD!
PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!
While I am living I will PRAISE Jesus; even with my last breath!
I will daily; continually sing PRAISES to my Jesus!
I will put my trust in Him!
HAPPY is he who has the God of Jacob for his help;
whose hope is in the Lord, his God.
Who made heaven, and earth, the seas and everything in them.
He is Jesus who keeps every promise!
He lifts the burdens from those bent down beneath their loads. He loves His children.
Jesus reigns forever. Hallelujah!!!!!!!

We are so glad to hear that you all are safe. We are thinking & praying for you all. Kara, you have to put on your boxing gloves right now & stay strong! This is a prayer that I ran across in a devotional book that I wanted to share with you. When I read this you immediately came to my mind.

Dear Lord, thank you for your word and your spirit that grow us in faith & in the understanding of the greatness of your power. Help me to trust and obey you as you carry me through dark and difficult paths. Let my spirit soar to high places with you. Comfort me with your nearness, and speak tender words of love in my ears. In Jesus'name, amen.
Love,
Kelli

Glad to hear that you got out of Houston--we're in OKC with my aunt. I hope you have a relaxing weekend away from the craziness in Houston and that you aren't too anxious about the upcoming treatments. You are such an encouragement to me everyday; thanks for sharing your prayer and thoughts with us.
Love,
Leslie

Thank you Lord for carrying Kara and Matt to safety. Thank You for giving Emma and Luke Doc and Mimi, safe and loving hands to care for them. Please take the stress away from the family so that they can enjoy the peacefulness of the La Grange farm. Breath in the fresh air, Kara, and surround yourself with God's love and feel His arms around you, taking care of you. Matt, let go and let God be in charge. Love, Gamma and Gampa
Aloha for 31 more days...We love you
