PET Scan Today

Kara is having another PET Scan done this morning to check on the status of the tumors. We hope to have the results tonight, and will share them with you as soon as we can.

O God, you wil keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are fixed on you;
for in returning and rest we shall be saved;
in quietness and trust shall be our strength.
- Isaiah 26:3; 30:15

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for encouraging test results.
- Please pray for comfort and peace for Kara.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Kara, "Trust shall be our strength.." You have been so brave and true in your faithful determination to get this treatment done! And done it will be - You are so much more close to the healing resolution of all conditions.
We know you can keep going - get it all done - you have come so far and done so much - the rest can seem short and so well done!!
You are in our hearts and prayers every day without fail. Love, Gem

Dear Kara, How good to know that your long-awaited surgery has been scheduled and hopefully will soon be behind you! I'm so grateful that it's one surgery only and should be fast and straightforward and that you've had time to recover from the chemo and get some strength beforehand. This hasn't been the usual course of events but then this isn't a usual type of tumor and you're not a usual patient, we know. No doubt things are happening in a wonderfully positive way to be sure that everything is taken care of as it's meant to be. You are so dear and special and such a marvelous patient and I'm sure that your medical team knows and appreciates this more than you realize. Positive thinking, more positive praying, and only positive actions surrounded by your incredible faithful family and prayer partners around the world continue to embrace you each moment of the day and night- and never more than now as you prepare for the final lap of the journey. Please take good care of you as you have been doing all along. Much love, Aunt Betsy
