Kara is on the way home

Kara is being discharged from the hospital and should be home soon. She no longer has an epidural, so she is experiencing more discomfort from her surgery.

Hi Kara,

We are so very grateful to hear that your surgery went well and that you are on the mend. We will pray that the pain will decrease and you will get back an appetite very soon. Am sure Emma and Luke are thrilled to have you home.
Take care and don't try to do too much too quickly.
Love,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don

What good news that you are home now! Sorry I didn't make it on Friday, sounds like Emma was able to entertain, though. :) I hope you are able to relax now and get some rest so you can have a quick recovery!
Love,
Leslie

Kara, your prayer is going around the world! Aunt Betsy told your Granny's sister Aunt Frances - now all her sisters want a copy!!!!!!! Aunt Jeannine, your Granny's baby sister, called me yesterday wanting two copies.......Her daughter, Cindy (Cynthia Denise Crowson) was called home on July 14, 2001 at 41 years old. She had breast cancer. Aunt Jeannine has diligently, prayerfully kept up with you even though she doesn't have a computer!!?! Here is the poem that was at Cindy's service:

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape.
A woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape!

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything...
A woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear!

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her..
A woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone.

A strong woman walks sure footedly
A woman of strength knows Jesus will catch her when she falls!

A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face...
A woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith she is strong enough for the journey...
A woman of strength has faith it is in the journey she will become strong!

Favor is deceitful,
Beauty is vain
A woman who feareth Our Lord
She will be praised!
Proverbs 31:30

I know Cindy is watching you from Heaven saying "Well done, Cuz!"

Kara, so glad to know that you are home and that you have taken another big step toward restored health and healing. May this mark the beginning of a new chapter in your beautiful life--one filled with renewed strength and energy in body and soul. May those who care for you experience this renewal as well. Love and continued faith that the miracles will continue.
