Tests Completed

Kara is back home and resting after completing the MRI and other tests. Several doctors have to interpret the results, so they most likely will not know anything until tomorrow.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that the test results show improvement -- that the tumors are shrinking or gone.
- Please pray for peace and faith for Kara as she waits for the results.
- Please pray that the cancer is eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

"Therefore I tell you,
whatever you ask in prayer,
believe that you have received it,
and it will be yours."
- Mark 11:24

"Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song;
He has become my salvation."
- Isaiah 12:2

"You Lord give perfect peace
to those who keep their purpose firm
and put their trust in you."
- Isaiah 26:3

Kara - it was so good to chat with you at church yesterday. I was so tickled that our friend (to remain nameless!) didn't recognize you with your new "do" and was waiting to be introduced. What a guy thing!! :-)
I wanted you to know that I woke up with a prayer on my heart for you this morning. God is good, and He is shining through you! Liz

Dear Kara, Please let me know where you go your wig - I am ready. I will cancel my hair appointment this week and go and get one if I thought it could make me look half as good as do you. what a great choice and how wonderful to see you responding so beautifully to your treatments.

We pray the news from your studies today will be all we hope for. Please rest and take care of your very special brave and delightful self. Love, Aunt Betsy

Dear Kara,

I love the shade of red that you picked, and the style is so natural. It looks great!

We're praying for you every day. As we prayed today, we remembered the scripture passage Luke 11:5 - 11:13. We're asking for complete healing, and we ask persistently, knowing that He is faithful.

We love you,
Gina and Curby

Dear Kara, Matt and family – Cat and I wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Waiting is difficult. We’re hopeful that you receive an abundance of good news this week. BTW, love the new hair. It truly looks great! Love – Chris, Catherine, Nicholas and Justin.

HI!
Sorry I didn't check in last week. I was gone to a conference for work. I still have your Sr. picture, and your hair was an auburn color then. I didn't open the picture, but I'm sure you look just as beautiful in this color. I know waiting is hard. You know patience is not one of my strengths, but the person you have grown into has found strength that I didn't even know existed. I don't have any prayers or scriptures to offer, just the fact that God knows what is in our hearts. I can't quote it, but we were discussing the passage where even if you can't put your prayers into words, your sighs are heard as the prayer for assistance that they are meant to be. Just wanted to let you know that I'm still checking on you and love you bunches!

Kara ...
I have known Jim and Diane for a long long time. Diane keeps all of us in Topeka (the Kansas connection) informed about your progress and I'm so pleased the latest reports are positive. You look fantastic in the last picture. I will keep praying for you. Take care ...
