Improving

Kara has been eating Jello throughout the day and has been able to keep it down. She hasn't tried anything else yet, but hopefully tomorrow she'll be up to it. She went in today to get her blood drawn for testing, but did not have to get IV fluids, as she felt improved.

Prayer Requests
- Please pray for the swift reduction in Kara's nausea and other side effects, and a restoration to strength.
- Please pray that she feels God's presence with her, that she may feel His peace.
- Please pray that the treatment is successful in eradicating the cancer, permanently.

Thank you for rallying around Kara as she needs you. Your prayers have been working, and provide immeasurable comfort to her.

Hi Kara, I was so glad to read you did not need the IV and that jello tasted good. Thank you to you and your family for the updates, scriptures and esecilly specific prayer requests. While I immediately know to pray for complete physical healing, it is helpful to know your other needs and requests to lift up on your behalf. Hoping that tomorrow is even better. In Christ, Holly

Thank You Lord for sending your mercies to Kara. Please give her the gift of good health.
Kara, Jim and I are back on Atkins, and sugar free jello is our big treat. I pray that you will enjoy your jello as much as we enjoy and look forward to ours. Remind Emma that Gamma will help her make jello when we come.
Love, Gamma and Gampa

Hi Kara,

We are praying and trusting the Lord to sustain you daily. We are all given one day at a time, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is wise to unfold His provision for us each day.
I am reminded of that favorite old hymn, "How Firm a Foundation."
The second verse states:
"Fear not, I am with thee; O be not dimayed, For I am thy God and will still give thee aid; I'll strengthen thee, help thee; and cause thee to stand, upheld by My righteous onmnipotent hand!"
We love you,
Aunt Karen

Kara, glad you're starting to feel better, the saying on my calendar in my office for April is quite uplifting and I thought of you, hope these words are encouraging to you:

No trouble that you face is out of God's control. The waves that come against you can only go so high, and their force can only be so strong. They will not be able to overturn your ship of faith or blow you off course as you keep your trust in the Lord. In His time, the waves will subside, the winds will be subdued, and all will be quiet again.
Love, Janice

Oh, Thank You Jesus! We magify your Name! No name above the name of Jesus! He is Worthy.

I added you to several prayer lists, one of them was Joel Osteen at Lakewood Church. This was their reply:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Be Joyful always; pray continually; giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will for you in Christ Jesus.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for sharing your prayer request with us. We consider it an honor to pray for you. Please know that Joel and Victoria receive a copy of each request and pray corporately for those things that concern you. In addition, our prayer partners pray for your needs on an individual and personal basis.

We are standing with you in prayer and believing that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Our God is Jehovah Rapha, the One who heals; Jehovah Jireh, our provider; Jehovah Shalom, our peace; El-Shaddai, the God who is sufficient for the needs of His people. No matter what concerns you today, Jesus Christ is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:30)

Be confident that we are fervently praying for you. Be encouraged; stand strong in the Lord. Be confident that regardless of your current circumstances...that "with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

Thank you again for giving us the privilege to pray for your needs.

Believing God's Best for you,

Joel Osteen Ministries

Kara, We are so very grateful to know the IVs were not necessary at this time. Jello is great stuff as is a lot of other kind, gentle foods that will allow you to build up again. We are with you in every way - every day - through prayer. Bless You, Gem
