Update

Mom and Dad have packed up all of the old house in Joplin and this weekend Kara, Matt, the kids and the rest of us were all at the farm helping unpack the trucks. Mom and Dad will spend the week trying to get things in order there while Matt's mom Diane is in Houston, enjoying her time with the grandkids.

We are still waiting to hear back for the results of the bone marrow biopsy. It may take up to ten days.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for good results from the bone marrow biopsy.
- Please pray for increased bloodcounts for Kara, that she may resume her platinum chemo.
- Please pray for insurance approval of her Herceptin.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Dear Kara,

It was so good to see you yesterday at church! You always bring a smile to my face. :) I am praying for your bone marrow results. May you find strength and hope in the Lord.

Kara,
A word of encouragement from the book: When I am afraid I will trust in you.Ps.56:3

Surely your waiting will not be in vain The promise is clear and precise: "Blessed are all those who wait for him.

" He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry: when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.(Isaiah 30:l9)

They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.(Isa.40:31). Hope to see you on Wed if your up to it. Love You, Cynthia Oberlin
P.S. There have been very encourging pages in "Streams in the Desert" Devotional if you have had a chance to read the last week or so I so hope you read them. There is nothing like his word to lift us up in our time of need.

Dear Kara, It was wonderful to know that you and the family were able to be at the farm even on a work party status this past week-end, as it's such a fun place to go and to be! No doubt you were a great help to Mimi and Doc with all the unpacking from Joplin, and the little ones give them such joy especially and help keep everything in perspective. Continual prayers are with you daily for a good bone marrow report and for your continued increase in energy and stamina and complete return to full health as your body responds to the medicines and treatment plans outlined so beautifully at each step. Have a restful and relaxing week and know how dear and special you are always. Much love, Aunt Betsy
