Chemo Postponed

Kara cannot receive chemotherapy this week because her platelets are too low. She will be able to have the Herceptin, however.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara's bloodcounts raise and stay where they need to be for her to continue her chemotherapy uninterrupted.
- Please pray for insurance approval of the Herceptin.
- Please pray that the Novalis procedure goes smoothly.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you. We hope you all have a happy Fourth of July long weekend with your friends and families.

Hi Kara,
The verse Psalm 147:11 says: "The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love." You are a delight to the Lord, and we trust His unfailing love to carry you you through each day. He will sustain you and keep you.
Have a happy July 4th Weekend!
Love,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don

Thus saith the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel

"For your sake remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it will spring forth, will you not know it?

I will make a way in the wilderness
Rivers in the desert."

Dear Kara, Hope this finds you and Matt and the children home and enjoying a relaxing 4th week-end! Thank our Dr. Lynch for knowing when and how to continue your good treatment plan to eradicate the last possible little bit of tumor! I'm so glad you're willing to continue whatever he feels led to direct with the chemo. What a wonderful spirit of trust and faith you show us each day and what an inspiration you are to each of us, dear Kara. Please rest and relax and rest some more so you'll be ready ASAP, and in the meantime enjoy some prime time doing some of your most favorite things with Emma and Luke. Remember how wonderfully special and precious you are to me and to all of us who love you so. Aunt Betsy

Just checking in!
Hope you all had a good 4th. Rest up so that you'll be ready for the chemo. I can just imagine Emma (such a big girl) and Luke (not to be out done) at the pool. It's hard to believe how quickly they grow!
Colt looks like a 20 year old (at 16) and would like for me to treat him like one. Jaydon thinks he should keep up, but he's worried because, (and I quote) "my hormones haven't kicked in yet", at a few weeks away from 13. I'll pray for you if you'll pray for me! giggle.
Love you all!!!
Jana
