Chemo Postponed Again

Kara cannot receive chemotherapy this week because her bloodcounts are still too low. She will be able to have the Herceptin.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara's bloodcounts raise and stay where they need to be for her to continue her chemotherapy uninterrupted.
- Please pray for insurance approval of the Herceptin.
- Please pray that the Novalis procedure goes smoothly.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Dear Kara, Have you had the Novalis? The Herceptin this week? I feel a bit behind after the holiday but know that the scheduling depends so much on your counts and previous responses. Hope you're resting and taking advantage of these non-chemo days to catch up on rest and nutrition not to mention fun and activities in and out of the pool with Emma and Luke. Please know you continue in my thoughts and prayers for total healing and complete recovery and for our dear Lord to work His miracles in and through you, surely l of His most faithful and trusting disciples. Love to all, Aunt Betsy

I have been humming this song since last night which has brought me so much joy; comfort. His Presence!

I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear,
falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me,
And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share
as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound
of His voice
Is so sweet, the birds
hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I'd stay in the garden with Him,
Though the night around me
be falling
But He bids me go;
Through the voice of woe,
His voice to me is calling.

OH HAPPY DAY!
He walks with me!
He talks with me!
He tells me I am His!
OH THE JOY WE SHARE!

"IN THE GARDEN"

Dear Kara,

Today we've been praying for your complete healing, in whatever way God chooses. He is fully able and is greater than all of our fears.

I wanted to share with you two encouraging passages from the Word:

"Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
-- Psalm 103:1-5

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him."
--Psalm 126:5-6

Much Love,
Gina and Curby
