Pleurisy

Kara has had a cough for quite some time now, and with pain in her chest. She went to the doctor yesterday, and he determined she had pleurisy, which is an inflammation of the lungs. It should go away in time. She is also on medication for bronchitis, in case she has a little of that working on her, too. Despite the discomfort, Kara isn't letting it get her down.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that the Novalis continues on schedule and goes smoothly.
- Please pray that Kara's bloodcounts stay where they should be so that she can resume chemotherapy.
- Please pray that the pleurisy resolves quickly.
- Please pray that the cancer is eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Kara, please know you are in our prayers. We are so glad that these treatments are available and that there are so many skilled physicians working on your behalf. We are also grateful that you are feeling well enough to enjoy time with Luke and Emma and also to vacation. Our prayers are with you during these treatments and always.

Love, your PA family

Jesus says --

PRESS ON!

Just as the woman with the issue of blood PRESSED THROUGH the crowd to touch the hem of his garment for her healing

That I may know Him; the Power of His Resurrection; the Fellowship of His Sufferings.

This 1 thing I do --
Forgetting those things which are behind
Pressing toward those things which are before

Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling

Philippians 3:10,13,14

Dear Kara, Please remember how constantly you are thought of and prayed for especially as you go through the Novalis and the treatment for the pleurisy! I'm so glad you have a diagnosis for the cough and are taking care of it, since it can wear you down so if it persists. Hopefully your treatments are going well otherwise and you're looking forward to your upcoming vacation with the family. Stay rested and well-nourished and strong and positive, knowing that His plan is proceeding for you and your complete return to full strength and complete health. Much love, Aunt Betsy

Be gone with you, plurisy. We're movin' in, and there's not room for both of us. See ya in a few days. Kara, don't forget, you have the light of God within you, and He is taking care of your needs.
Love, Diane and Jim

Kara,

We went to Chain-O-Lakes again this weekend with the boys and other family members. I thought of you while we were there. It would be fun to go there together and celebrate your full recovery. I have such faith that the Lord is going to completely remove this cancer from your body! I loved the picture taken at Port Aransas...how cute! I'm glad you had such a nice time despite the heat...cooler weather is on it's way!

Abundant blessings ~
Love,
Wendy, Rob, Chase & Chance Miller
P.S. Give Matt, Emma and Luke our love too!
