PET Scan Tomorrow

Kara, Matt, and the children had a nice, quiet weekend in Houston together. Kara continues to feel strong despite having resumed chemotherapy, and we hope her energy will continue to hold.

Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord;
Apart from you I have no good thing."
As for the saints who are in the land,
They are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
- Psalm 16:1-3

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara continues to tolerate her chemotherapy well.
- Please pray that the PET Scan results are encouraging.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

BLESS YOU KARA - BLESS U!!!!!!!

What a mighty ministry our Lord is raising up through you to touch many lives worldwide.

Betsy and Jean Ann went to visit my Mom, Norene, Sat. She was so thrilled! Their visit really boosted her; gave her so much joy. Ed, I, Jennifer and Regan went up Sun. to see her. She got the card you sent to her showing us; telling us "Kara wrote this herself! Kara wrote this." Then looking at us with wide eyes; a very determined face she said, "You know she has problems using her hands and feet, but she wrote this to me herself."
You would think she had been given a million dollars. I know Jesus will flow back to you the joy you gave her!
She loved your card! We all appreciate your thoughtfulness; your kindness; how you touched her heart beyond words. Knowing my Mom there won't be one person who walks in her home who doesn't see your card. The picture of Emma and Luke in the bluebonnets was priceless. Such beautiful; precious children God has given you and Matt!

Standing on His Promise:

"For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord,
"plans to prosper you; not to harm you,
Plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

Declaring and claiming:

"Call those things which are not, as though they were."

Romans 4:17

"For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

JESUS LOVES U SO MUCH!
You are His Mighty Warrior.

Yes indeed, the Lord is with her. Dee, like your mom, I carry a card Kara wrote to me, showing it to everyone. "Kara wrote this!", and such kind and wonderful words. Kara is blessed, but Matt is blessed to have her!

Hi Kara,
We are rooting for your blood counts to get better. Emma and Luke have grown so much!! I could not believe how big they both were when I saw them at VBS.
Much Love!
