Kara is on some antibiotics and no longer has a fever. She has an appointment with Dr. Lynch on Wednesday.

- Please pray for peace and comfort for Kara in this difficult time.
- Please pray that the treatment she had this month have been successful.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from her body, permanently.

In February 2005, Kara was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic brain cancer – large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She is a devoted mother of two, and a caring and generous wife, sister and daughter. This blog was started to keep family and friends informed of Kara's progress. The thoughts and prayers Kara has received through this blog have been an unending source of hope and inspiration, including many kind and encouraging comments from people she has never met. We thank you all.

Though our battles in life are long and tiring it is in our allies, freinds and family, that we gather our strength to march on. You are surrounded by love and freindship each and every moment - not fighting alone but with an army. Matt, I was just told that Kara is not doing well. I have never met Kara, but knowing you, tells me who she is. You have been so strong and a devoted father and husband. Kara is so blessed to have such a wonderful person like you in her life. Unfortunately, I know how you feel and memories are such an amazing gift that God has blessed us with and our loved ones will never be far away. I will pray for comfort, strength and peace for Kara.
