From Kara

I am still not giving up on a miracle, but I don't know what God's will is. I want to give you many thanks for all of your prayers for me, and all the cards you have sent and comments on the blog that you have left. I trust in God's will for my life, and it may not be what I was hoping it would be. Please continue to pray for me and my family.

Love,

Kara

Kara,

We are praying for you each and every day! God is with you and he will carry you and your family through this.

Dear Lord, please be with Kara in her time of need. Please help her family to continue to have the strength to assist Kara through this time of struggle.

Remember--Wichita KS is also praying the rosary for you!

Mary, please pray for Kara and her family--as the Mother of our Lord.

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary. That never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intersession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, Our Mother. To thee we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer our prayers.

AMEN.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thess. 5:16-18.

Dearest Kara - we continue to stand with you, firmly believing in God's promises for you and your family. You are beautiful!

Your sister-in-Christ. Liz

Kara,

We are praying for you up in WI. Hold fast to God's word and His promises-they are a rock and an anchor in any storm. Just like Dodie (Osteen) said, take your spiritual medicine faithfully (just like you are taking other medicines). FYI, Dodie continues to meditate daily on the same healing promises God gave her 15 years ago when she was healed from liver cancer. Our God is an AWESOME God!!
We love you!!!

Dear Kara,

You are in our prayers daily. We rejoice with each good report and plead for more good news of healing when the reports are not as encouraging. Your strength is astounding and I know you draw on God for it all. I wish I had the words to give you more encouragement. We are praying for a miracle and we won't give up!

Love,
Brad and Leslie

Kara,

Do you remember the story about the sinking rowboat? If you were in a row boat in the middle of the ocean and it begin to take on water, would you rather have a lot of faith or...a little faith and a bucket? The answer was there's no big or little faith. Faith is faith.

Thanks for being there for me always,

Robbie

Dear Kara, Our prayers are with you and the family.

As Rick Warren states in his book "The Purpose Driven Life". "You exist for God's purposes, not vice versa. Why would God provide heaven on earth when he's planned the real thing for you in eternity? God gives us our time on earth to build and strengthen our character for heaven."

Kara, you have strengthened your character and faith far beyond what most of us hope to ever achieve and God is ready to receive you into his loving arms. Fear not, for God is in control.

I hope these verses will comfort you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"

Psalm 46:1-3 - "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging"

Hebrews 13:5 -"Never will I
leave you; never will I forsake you"

Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified . . . the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - "Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. Affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal"

All our love forever,
Janice and your PA family

Wow! The mind and its connection to God is a powerful relationship. Thank you for being such a force of nature through college and then through family. Your personhood is beyond admirable and in fact miraculous. It is impossible to be near you and not feel the presence of calm that is brought by the Holy Spirit. Things that are alike attract one another and I believe a miracle will come to such a miraculous person as yourself and your family.

Embrace this experience as you embrace all of us, I can see your smile and it is awesome!

Love, love, and love,
Jamie

Kara, I marvel at the comments on the blog as I absorb their love for you and the Lord. Amen to the love and truth in God's Word. Just reading those in Janice's comments brought home those sweet and precious promises.

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us"

Your desire to seek the Lord's will is evidence of your faith and trust in a God who loved us enough to send his son to die for us. That is love enough for all of us!!

Thank you, Kara, for your openness to share your heart's desire with us. We are blessed by being a part of your miracle--the miracle of God's love and grace. We continue to pray for healing in accordance with the Lord's will.

In his love, Mary Sullivan
