Update

Kara has been getting stronger and her speech is improving. She met with Dr. Lynch last week, who was pleased with her progress since her hospitalization. She was able to go to Community Bible Study on Thursday, and to church on Sunday. She was reinvigorated by all of the love and encouragement from her church family.

Luke started his new pre-school class last week, and can't stop talking about. Emma continues to enjoy kindergarten. Kara hopes to be able to pick Emma up from school some day this week and meet Emma's teacher.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara continues to tolerate her chemotherapy well.
- Please pray for comfort and peace for Kara to keep doubt and fear away.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you all for continuing to pray for Kara's miracle.

Dear Kara,
We await the miracle of your healing that is in the making, we thank God for all the wisdom given to the people who are charged with making decisions about your journey, and we pray that you remain steadfast in blocking your fears, remain strong in your faith. He knows you are the perfect mommy for our grand children, Love, gramma and grampa

Dear, Dear Kara,
It has been a bit since I had the chance to check in on you. I'm sorry you've had such a rough time of it recently. I know that God is by your side constantly.
You must let Jean know that, while she thanks people who write for being a part of your life and praying for you, I want to thank you and your family for being a part of mine. Courage and Faith are no longer abstract ideals. They are embodied in people I know and love.
Hugs to all!
Jana

What a Gift!
When tests; challenges come at you
from all sides!
Under pressure, your faith-life is
forced into the open; shows its true colors!
Don't try to get out of anything!
Let it do its work so you become
mature; well-developed, not deficient in any way........
Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on; manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate!
Such persons are loyally in love
with God.
The Reward is Life; more Life.
James 1:2-4,12 The Message

Pure Gold put in the fire comes out
of it PROVED pure.
Genuine faith put through this suffering comes out PROVED genuine.
When Jesus wraps this all up
it's your faith, not your gold
that God will have on display as
Evidence of His Victory.
1Peter 1:6-7 The Message

Now to Him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in His
Bright Presence, fresh; celebrating
To our One God, our ONLY SAVIOR,
through Jesus Christ, our Master, be GLORY, MAJESTY; STRENGTH;
Who Ruled before ALL TIME; now;
TO THE END OF ALL TIME - YES!!!!!!!!
Jude 24,25 The Message
