Blood Transfusion

Kara had a busy weekend. She was able to go to church and spend a lot of good time visiting with friends and family. She has been fatigued so far this week, though. She will receive a blood transfusion tomorrow that will hopefully help with her energy. When she is rested, her vision, speech, dizziness, and dexterity are much improved. When she gets tired, however, she continues to struggle in those areas.

Please continue to pray for Kara's miracle.

"For we know that in all things
God works for the good of those who love Him,
Who are called according to his purpose."
- Romans 8:28

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara's blood transfusion goes smoothly and increases her energy.
- Please pray for peace, hope, and faith for Kara.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

We are praying for your comfort, strength and healing. We hope that the transfusion gives you some much needed energy. I'm glad that you had a good weekend with the family.

Good that you are out and about again. Stay rested (and rest for me too!) We are thinking of you - and praying for you. Much Love, Sal

Thank You Lord for all the people who donate blood so that Kara can be filled with energy. Think positive! Grit your teeth and make a fist. Suck in a deep breath. Out with the negative! Out! Out Cancer Out!

Dear Kara,
You and Matt continue to be in my prayers of thanksgiving to God. What a miracle that has already occurred! Know that He is with you, always, even to the end of the ages!

Blessings and love, Karen

Kara,

I've been reading your blog for a while and you and your family have been in my prayers daily. I only today figured out that I could post to it. (Welcome to the 21st Century.)

You don't know me, but I just wanted to say that your strength and hopefulness are an inspiration to me and I will continue to pray for your miracle.

Hi Kara,
We hope the transfusion went well, providing you with energy. We continue to pray for you as we trust the Lord continues to perfect the good works He has begun in you. He is mighty to save and we know He is able to do more than we ask or even think.
Love,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don

Kara, we have been busy around here but nothing significant like your very special, challenging world.
We pray that the transfusion gives you a wonderful boost.
We have a medical assistant student from the school starting next week. Teaching is always fun and lots of work!!! But some one was willing to teach us - even if long ago and we continue to contribute to the healthcare system as we can.
Please feel our gentle, loving hugs. Love, Gem

we are thinking of you and sending you good thoughts. Sam made a card for Kara today...but it is full of glitter so I don't think Matt would be too thrilled.

God Bless you in your time of need. God's will was done and he has plucked another flower for his garden. May He strengthen you and your family when you need Him the most. Just remember John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I did not know Kara but from reading this blog she knew the Lord. She is resting with him now at peace and non suffering. Be encouraged. Tina D.
