Novalis

Kara is having a special MRI performed tonight to ascertain whether the two smaller spots are her brain are previously treated tumors that are dissolving, or if they require radiation as well. She will probably have the Novalis performed at the end of next week.

Luke is feeling a little better, but as of yesterday still had a fever off and on.

Matt's grandmother passed away today, at the age of 99. Matt and his family are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that the Novalis procedure is successful in destroying all the tumors in Kara's brain.
- Please pray that Kara can receive her full chemotherapy tomorrow.
- Please pray that the cancer is eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Hi Kara,
We send our sympathy to Matt and his family with the loss of his grandmother. We are glad that Luke is recovering from his fever and illness. Our little ones have been congested and have run fever also lately.
We trust the Lord to continue to guide the doctors as they care for you. How grateful we are that the chemo is effective and you are maintaining your strength as it does the work to rid your body of the cancer.
Psalm 59:17:
"O my Strength, I sing praise to you; You, O God, are my fortress, my loving God."
We love you,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don

Dear Kara and Matt,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother; I know everyone was looking forward to her 100th birthday. I hope the new MRI scan goes well and that your doctors can get everything set for Novalis next week. Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Leslie

Dear Kara andMatt, Hopefully this week will be a good one with this first day of spring heralding new life and new hope. Imagine having two more angels nearby with the passing of Kara's great Aunt Edna recently and now Matt's grandmother each of whom made the century mark almost! What wonderful blessings and what marvelous heritage and how greatly they'll be missed after all the years of inspiration and influence and guidance to all the generations they knew and loved. Please know how very greatly you and the children and the rest of the family are loved and prayed for on a regular basis, knowing that our Lord continues to answer our prayers and give us the wonderful blessing of good health and peace of mind and spirit. Much love, Aunt Betsy
