The MRI showed no active cancer in Kara's brain or her liver! And the CT Scan was a chest-abdomen scan, and no cancer appeared on that anywhere.
We are thrilled about this news! Kara is in physical therapy right now, and no one can get a hold of her to tell her that the MRI came back all-clear. Matt is going to try to track her down over there to let her know the good news.
Thank you so much for your unceasing prayers and concern for Kara. It will be a truly happy holiday season for us!

I'm so happy for everyone! Kara, you're an amazing person. I know we haven't actually met but I feel like I know you. With all the pictures up and stories that Jean tells (not to mention all the cute things she's always got for the kids), I can't imagine a more deserving person or family to hear such great news. What a wonderful Christmas you all will have!

Dear Kara, What absolutely wonderful birthday and Thanksgiving news-not unexpected or surprising of course -but fantastic reassurance of our good Lord's ongoing watchcare! You looked so good last week, and you still have your great sense of humor and tremendously deep trust and faith, not to mention your awesome support system from the entire family, friends and neighbors, prayer groups around the world. I'm so glad you're such an active and avid participant with your P.T. and O.T. and know that your therapists will never have a more dedicated or determined patient. Isn't it marvelous what a combination of maternal love and faith can do??!!
