Update

Kara will be going in for a head MRI on Monday. The PET Scan was just of her body, so this will show if there are any new tumors in her brain.

Tuesday she will meet with her oncologist. At this point, it looks like they may do chemo and radiation therapy together.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that the head MRI does not show any more tumors.
- Please pray for peace and comfort for Kara, Matt, and the family during this difficult and stressful time, that they may feel God's sustaining presence and love.
- Please pray for a promising, encouraging treatment plan from her doctors.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you all so very much for your continued prayers and words of love and encouragement, It's been almost a year, and Kara still needs and appreciates your vigilant prayers. It is hard for Kara to face more long treatment, but she is willing and eager to do whatever it takes.

My Dear Kara,
I think we will nominate you for sainthood; Your commitment to your God and the powers He holds for you continues to be an inspriation to all of us. We will continue to pray for the eradication of this evil from your body. We also pray for Matt to continue to have the strength and wisdom to support you, and the time and energy to play with the kids. You two are amazing, and we are so proud of you.
Love, Gramma and Papa

Kara, Matt,
Although we've only met once, you are in my heart and prayers. May God provide and may He give you each the guidance, strength and peace that can only come from the One who loves us most of all.
God bless each of you, and those two precious kids as well! Lots & lots!

Dear Kara,

As everyone has said repeatedly in their posts, you are truly inspirational and a beautiful child of God. I hope that the MRI results today were more encouraging than the results from last week. You are so strong and I pray that God will continue to provide you with strength to overcome this. I know that he will. God bless you and keep you (Numbs 6:24-26).
Love,
Leslie
