Cow Cake

Mimi made Luke a cake that made Luke just about explode with happiness with all of the cow-ness: longhorns, jerseys, calves, hay bales, a paddock, and some brown specs on the grass that looked suspiciously like cow patties...

(I haven't uploaded all of the photos from last weekend yet; I'll get the rest up tonight.).

Hi Kara,
That "cow cake" that Mimi made looks wonderful--and Luke appears to be thrilled with it! Wonderful variety of cows included with the fences and hay (not to mention cow paddies)! That reminds me after visiting relatives in Louisiana and seeing the cattle, Tom returned to first grade and colored his cow black; the teacher (obviously a city slicker!) frowned upon that, as all the others were brown with white. But Tom had seen the "real things" in the pasture, including the Black Angus. Am glad Luke is learning about them too.
We are glad he had such a fun birthday, also.

What a priceless picture! Luke can't take his eyes off his Cow Cake that his Mimi made him! The shaving cream picture with the sippy cup keeps me smiling. Thanks so much for sharing these special moments.

Kara, I cried with joy when I saw the pictures of the birthday cake and all. Wow! what fun. So happy for you and your family. All the pictures that Jean does for us all - are such a wonderful fun time. Hugs to you and yours, Gem
