Update

Kara was able to have chemotherapy on Friday. Hopefully she will have her fourth round this week, and then she will have more scans run to check on the status of things.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray that Kara's bloodcounts remain high enough to continue with chemo this week.
- Please pray for good results on the upcoming tests.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

Dear Kara, How wonderful to know that you've successfully completed 4 rounds of treatment and are tolerating the chemo well now. Hopefully your counts will allow you to finish up #5 this week-all part of Dr. Lynch's plan to eradicate the tumors once and for all! I'm so happy to hear that you're on your own now most week-ends and are feeling like the family is more yours and Matt's again with you better able to carry on with the children and household activities. The photos of Luke's birthday are so precious and you looked so healthy in them! Try to rest and remember how greatly you are prayed for each day and night, and we pray believing in the goodness and total healing power of our dear and so almighty Lord who directs all our paths and brings us perfect health and well-being always. Much love, Aunt Betsy

Hi, Kara,
Just checking in. I'm so thankful you were able to receive chemo last week and will pray you can continue.

It was wonderful spending time with you and your family in La Grange. The girls are still talking about how much fun they had.
Love, Kim U. (or as Eric prefers to abbreviate including maiden! K.S.U.)
