Update

Kara's bloodcounts are rising -- her hemoglobin count is higher than it has been in months. She continues to feel better and have more energy, and is busy planning Emma’s upcoming birthday festivities and Halloween activities for the kids.
She will have another scan of her brain at the end of the month, on October 20th, I believe.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for good test results.
- Please pray that Kara continues to grow stronger.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara’s body, permanently.

Thank you.

Kara, prayers for your healing and renewed strength continue here. I just received an email from my friend Pat Celaya that she'd checked your website and that she was praying for you. Many here continue to pray--our family, life group, church friends and coworkers.

May the Lord continue his work of grace and healing in your life. "You are loved with an everlasting love."

Dear Kara, We are so happy to hear of your renewed strength. What a blessing. It was so good to see you at Bs birthday party and I really enjoyed visiting with you and your dad. You look wonderful and the kids are doing so well. Enjoy the planning for Emma's party and may you continue to build in your strength and energy. God Bless, Jan

Dear Kara,

This is such encouraging news! We're so glad that you're regaining strength and that your blood counts continue to improve!

We love you and will be with you in spirit as you celebrate Emma's birthday...5 years old. I still remember exactly where I was when Mom called to tell me that Emma had arrived! :)

We pray for Jehovah-Rapha to continue healing and blessing you each new day.

Love,
Gina and Curby

Dear Kara, What wonderful news that your blood counts are coming up and that you're feeling better each day. It's hard to believe that Emma will soon be 5! You must be having such joy preparing her celebration and memory-making events on her special day, and of course the most special thing about her birthday will be her mom's total participation in her festivities. Take care of your very special self and remember how greatly you are loved and prayed for each and every day, knowing that our Lord is all powerful and so able to heal perfectly and completely. Much love, Aunt Betsy
