In February 2005, Kara was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic brain cancer – large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She is a devoted mother of two, and a caring and generous wife, sister and daughter. This blog was started to keep family and friends informed of Kara's progress. The thoughts and prayers Kara has received through this blog have been an unending source of hope and inspiration, including many kind and encouraging comments from people she has never met. We thank you all.

Hi Kara,
Many thanks to Jean for sharing such good photos of Emma and Luke during their fun time with her and Lottie. Am glad you and Matt were able to have time visiting with friends. We continue to trust the Lord to bless and keep you all.
These are wonderful verses from Psalm 145:
verse 13: "The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made."
verse 16: "You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing."
