In February 2005, Kara was diagnosed with a rare form of metastatic brain cancer – large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. She is a devoted mother of two, and a caring and generous wife, sister and daughter. This blog was started to keep family and friends informed of Kara's progress. The thoughts and prayers Kara has received through this blog have been an unending source of hope and inspiration, including many kind and encouraging comments from people she has never met. We thank you all.

THANK YOU - THANK YOU JEAN for these beautiful Bluebonnet pictures with Kara, Emma, and Luke! I haven't seen one Bluebonnet in Dallas this year...
I love the pretty pink Texas Cowgirl Hats plus the pink boots to match! Luke looks sharp in his Cowboy Hat and boots too! How brightly God's Love shines; how warm it feels in these pictures.
"Consider the lilies how they grow.
They toil not, they spin not; yet I say to you that Solomon, in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these.
Luke 12:27
What a beautiful picture! Everything in PA is still brown, but the buds are out and we're almost there. Praying for a good week for you Kara. All our love, your PA family.
