Going to the Lake

Kara has been continiuing to tolerate her chemotherapy well, and she, Matt, and the children are going to a lake in East Texas for a long weekend break from the city. It will be the first time Kara has been anywhere besides Houston, Austin, or the farm in quite awhile, and she's looking forward to it.

Kara will go in for more scans Monday or Tuesday to see how the tumors are reacting to this new chemotherapy.

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for encouraging results for Kara's next round of scans.
- Please pray that God continues to give Kara hope and peace.
- Please pray that the cancer be eradicated from Kara's body, permanently.

Thank you.

BLESSINGS!
Kara, I was watching a minister on TBN today 3-2-06; he was giving the word on Joshua 1:5-9. In my mind came these words: "Send this to Kara so she will know I AM with her. Send it." Here it is -
JESUS says to you:
Kara, I AM with you;
I will not fail you,
nor forsake you.
Be strong; of good courage.
Only be strong; very courageous!
Observe to do according to all the law. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left so that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law will not depart out of your mouth. You will meditate therein day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you will make your way prosperous; then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong; of good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Kara, I'm so glad you can get away and enjoy time at the lake with Matt, Emma and Luke. It should be a perfect spring weekend!

Thankfully this chemo treatment has been less disruptive to your life. We pray that you continue to respond well and that it completely ZAPS the cancer this time around!

Remember you are loved with an everlasting love! We continue to lift you up in prayer and praise the Lord for his love, care and daily provision for you and your family.

May the Lord bless and strengthen you, the Sullivans

Dear Kara, This wonderful perfectly beautiful spring weather just sent especially to you and the family of course has to be part of your healing plan! Have a delightful time at the lake and maybe even the azaleas and dogwoods will be starting to bloom. Rest and relax and have a couple of marshmallows over the campfire for me! Remember how very special and how greatly loved you and Matt, Emma and Luke are and how our prayers continue for your full return to total strength and complete health. Love to all, Aunt Betsy
