Kara's blood counts really need improving. Her hemoglobin levels and white blood count are very low, which can be a serious problem. They have given her an infusion to try to boost those levels.
Please pray that Kara recovers quickly, that she is able to start her last round of chemo on time (Nov. 1), and that the cancer be eradicated from her body, permanently.
Thank you.

What is Faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.
Noah believed God even though there was no sign of a flood, and wasting no time, he built the ark; saved his family. Noah's belief in God was in direct contrast to the sin and disbelief of the world - who refused to obey God. Because of Noah's faith he was one of God's favored. While God was testing Abraham, he trusted in God and His promises.
Father God, "with the stripes" of Your Precious Son - JESUS - Kara is completely healed; restored from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Glory to His name - the name above ALL names!
I have been listening to the Women of Faith tapes from their conference a few years ago called "Irrepresible Hope", and I have thought of you often, Kara. The pervading theme is that no matter how it may feel some days, God sees our circumstances, he sees what we are going through and he does and will respond. Keep your hope up, Kara, make God the object of your hope through these difficult days.
We pray that you are feeling better and all your counts are up so that you may continue your treatments as scheduled.
Love and prayers from your PA Family
Hi Kara,
We trust the Lord to provide for all your needs as we keep you in our prayers.
"My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever." Psalm 73:26
"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." Deut.33:27
Much love,
Aunt Karen and Uncle Don
Dear Kara, It was so good to talk to your dad last PM and hear him sounding so encouraged about your progress-and then to hear Luke and Emma's voices in the background so happy with the puppies and with their evening activities! Maybe you're home tonight with everyone-resting and basking in the joy of being with your beautiful babies once again! Your health, your healing, your cure-all so vital to these precious children and to their total well-being-depend so totally on such precarious things each and every day-things that only you and our Lord can take care of and that the rest of us can only marvel at as they occur. How wonderful to see your total participation in the entire process and to know that your faith and trust never falter for long if at all, Kara. You are so very special to all of us and how I hope you will soon be home to enjoy the family and treasure each moment. My thoughts and prayers are with you continuously and especially as you recover your blood counts and get back home. Much love, dear dear Kara-Aunt Betsy
Hang in there Kara! You're in my thoughts and prayers every day. I know you can do this. I loved the pictures of Luke and Emma. Please tell your sister thanks for such a great blogspot. Love, Barbara
Dear Kara,
I am so sorry that you are having such a rough week. Hopefully, you are feeling better today and your blood counts have improved. I will be praying for you, your family, and all the doctors and nurses who are working to get you better. Tell Emma that I said happy birthday!
Love,
Leslie
Dear Kara - I hope you continue to feel better and that your blood counts improve, and that you can go home to your precious family soon.
We prayed for you at our Jubilee practice last night. When I stop to think about how many people across the country are lifting you up in prayer EVERY DAY it boggles my mind. And to know that God listens, and is answering our prayers is so reassuring. Feel better, and see you in church! Liz
